I typically don’t buy regular concrete mixes in 60 lbs bags because I get the standard 80 lbs. for a full pallet. I sometimes do use the 60 lbs bags but in small amounts so a full pallet isn’t needed. The crack resistant concrete mix however is great. For some jobs it works really well so a full pallet may be needed.

On average, an 80 pound bag of concrete covers 45 cubic feet. While a 60 pound bag of concrete will cover 30 cubic feet. No matter how much area you plan to cover, or what type of concrete mix you choose, be sure to leave room for error. I always buy a bag or two extra just in case.
