But the exact time depends on how much it’s used.

How To Hard Reset A Blink Outdoor Camera

Press something thin, like a pin or staple, into the reset hole and press the button. Hold the button down. You should see a red light blinking. The further the person gets beyond 30 feet, the harder it is to make out small details and facial features. However, I think the picture quality is still pretty good on my Blink, up to around 40-50 feet. After that, making out small details is almost impossible.

Blink cameras have infrared at night, so you can see people in the dark. But it becomes harder to make out facial characteristics than in daylight, and the effective range is reduced to 15-30 feet. The brighter it is outside, the farther the Blink camera’s range.

How Is A Blink Camera Powered?

Blink cameras are powered by 2 size AA 1.5 volt Lithium non-rechargeable batteries or a USB power connection. Every camera comes with its own power source and starter batteries. After the batteries run out, you have to supply your own replacements. Any brand will work, but I prefer Duracell.
