Are Hisense TVs Reliable?

Hisense TVs are known for their reliability and have an average lifespan of 5-10 years. However, I’ve owned a 42-inch flat screen HD model for over 15 years and it still works like new. They’re overall a cheaper brand than bigger names like Sony, LG and Samsung, mainly because they lack some of the latest high end tech. But they’re no less reliable and offer a very good warranty and customer service.

Although Hisense TVs are very reliable, the do have some issues. The biggest downside compared to more expensive competitors is quality control. There are often problems with uniformity and color accuracy. One of the more common issues is red ghosting around moving objects. But none of these issues will stop the TV from working and many can be fixed.

While some models may have limited features compared to higher end TVs, Hisense offers excellent customer service to help you with issues that may arise. And they have a very good warranty that’s on par with other TV manufacturers.

For the money, I really like Hisense TVs and use them at home and at work. If you want the latest tech and best specs, higher end brands are a better choice. But Hisense makes some great TVs and a fantastic price, so I’d consider them if your in the market for a new set.

Are Hisense TVs Worth It?

The overall quality, reliability, options, tech, features, specs and price point of Hisense TVs definitely make them worth the money. Compared to other popular brands like Samsung, LG, and Sony, Hisense provides the comparable sizes, specs, features, quality and tech for a lot less money. Their panels are very good with crisp images, a good color balance, strong blacks and a decent refresh rate. When you compare a Hisense TV to a comparable model from another brand, you’ll find that their just as good for a lot less money.

One of their best models, the Hisense U80G ULED 8K TV, offers the latest high-end specs with exceptional visuals for a lot less than the competition.

However, some lower end models have some issues with uniformity and color accuracy. One of the more common issues is red ghosting around moving objects. But many of these issues can be fixed and don’t apply to their higher end TVs.

With Hisense, you can usually get the same specs as a competitor, with the same reliability and warranty, for a heck of a lot less. Their high end TVs are among the best you can buy. Their lower end stuff sometimes have a few issues, but so do their competitor’s TVs at lower price points.

Overall for the money, I definitely think Hisense TVs are worth it and use them myself at home and at work.

And the store’s return policy is excellent. I’ve never actually had to return one after bringing it home, but it’s nice to know that I can for any reason without being hassled.

Hisense makes high quality TVs at a very affordable price. While they don’t have all the latest high end tech, the fastest refresh rates or the blackest blacks, I don’t really care. The picture quality and colors are great, they have good sound, are very reliable and cost thousands less than some of their competitors. For the money their products are hard to beat.
