  • Call 611 from your T-Mobile phone: Dialing 611 only works from your T-Mobile phone. Once your connected, follow the instructions to change the number. Dialing 611 takes you to the same place as if you dialed 1-800-T-MOBILE.

  4. Select a reason for the number change from the “Reason For Change” field.
  5. Choose a number by:
    • ZIP Code: enter preferred ZIP Code.
    • Area Code: enter preferred Area Code.
  6. Select an option in the “Preferred NXX” drop-down list.
  7. Check the box to agree to the terms and conditions.
  8. Select “Submit Change”. You’ll receive a transaction number, which can be viewed on the Transaction History page.

Once you change your T-Mobile number, all your old voicemails will be deleted and you’ll have to set up a new voicemail. In addition, your call records for the old number will no longer be available online.
